Natural Special Prep | Variety 74158 | Sidama | 1995–2300 MASL
Tasting Notes: Berry Concord, Complex Cacao, Caramel, Redcurrant

The Yaye Washing Station is one of Sidama’s rising stars—an immaculate processing site built in 2021 with a focus on quality, experimentation, and community impact. Sourced from 50 smallholders within a 10 km radius, all growing Variety 74158, these cherries were harvested at peak ripeness and delivered between 3–7 PM to avoid uncontrolled fermentation. Every detail was deliberate and the result is a vibrant, deeply expressive natural with jammy berry character, cacao-like complexity, and a redcurrant brightness—a clean, contemporary example of Ethiopia’s Natural Special Prep craftsmanship.

Beyond exceptional coffee, Yaye and Testi Coffees invest heavily in local education through school-building and supply programs funded by project premiums. Every bag supports this work in the surrounding communities.

**It is in the form of whole beans
