About Us

Crimson Coffee was born out of a simple idea: to share great coffee and warm hospitality. The name Crimson pays homage to the vibrant red of ripe coffee cherries—the fruit at its sweetest, just before harvest. It’s a moment we celebrate, a symbol of coffee at its peak.

Our first store in Camberwell sits behind a red-brick wall, echoing the same rich hue. It’s more than a coincidence—it’s a quiet reminder of where our coffee begins, and the grounded approach we bring to everything we do.

Who We Are

Crimson Coffee started as a small espresso bar near Camberwell Station, built on a love for quality coffee and community. Since then, we’ve grown into a multi-roastery espresso bar with locations in both Camberwell and Melbourne’s CBD.

We’re a team of baristas, roasters, and coffee lovers dedicated to sharing thoughtful, seasonal coffees in a welcoming setting. From behind the bar to the roastery, every part of Crimson is driven by curiosity, craft, and care.

What We Do

We source in-season green beans that score 80+ from producers across the globe, valuing transparency, quality, and sustainability. Every batch is sample-roasted and cupped before being small-batch roasted on our Diedrich roaster to bring out each coffee’s best qualities.

You’ll find a rotating selection of espresso and filter brews at our stores, with beans also available online. From casual sips to curated tasting events, we’re here to share coffee that’s expressive, traceable, and truly enjoyable.
